About Global TEFL
Global TEFL, Inc. was established as a non-profit 501 (c) 3 equal opportunity educational organization in 1991. Its original name was Central European Academy for Business and Education. Then in the mid 90s it became the Center for Business and Education. In 2000, the name was once again changed to Global TEFL to serve the SIT TESOL Certificate Course and teacher training workshops.

During the past 17 years the organization has conducted needs assessments in Hungary in the areas of business, education and EFL, has been a Samsung cross-cultural training center for Samsung executives, has hosted several Japanese corporate employees and professionals for technical and cross-cultural training, provided special short-term study programs for the Japan Travel Bureau College of International Tourism and Culture, and numerous vacation-study programs for students from Argentina, Thailand, Japan, and Spain.

Global TEFL currently works with the School for International Training to deliver the SIT TESOL Certificate course. Global TEFL-managed courses are located at DePaul University, Chicago, IL, Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA and in Somerville, MA.
